A LEARNING EXPERIENCE

I designed and built this table as a means to learn as much as I could about different techniques and mediums, methods. I was on a time crunch. My wife was 6+ months pregnant with our daughter and I knew once she enters our life that I would have limited time to be able to build such a table.Using remnant wood from our bartop I was able to produce a 48”x24”x1.75” river table.

THIS PROCESS TAUGHT ME: WOOD PLANING, WELDING, WELD GRINDING, EPOXY CURING AND BEHAVIOUR, WOOD JOINING METHODS, MATTE WOOD FINISHING
